No, I'm afraid there is not in the public version... Nonetheless, you can find a Joystick Event in the SOFA core that you can create and propagate in the SOFA scene graph (from an "home-made" Joystick driver for example...) and that will be catched by SOFA components. You can have a look in SOFA Mouse Event generation in the QT interface as an example.

It mean that we should chose second option. But I have no experience of work on device drivers. But if I once learn how to use device drivers then it will be very useful. We will able to create interface of any device to SOFA.
I am a new user to sofa from dubai.i have downloaded all the dependecies and sofa packages.i want to interface joystick with SOFA.I am using microsoft joystick.Can u please help.Thanks in advance.Awaiting for ur positive response.
